AK Party member Acar criticized the CHP over Bursa's water shortage: "This is the summary of CHP municipality and its reflection on Bursa."

Bursa , a major industrial and agricultural center in the Marmara Region, is grappling with a catastrophic drought affecting its main source of drinking water. Dams in Bursa have completely dried up, with their water levels plummeting to zero.
AK Party Deputy Chairman Faruk Acar criticized the CHP in a social media post, saying, "In the city that boasts about Uludağ's abundance, the taps are not flowing while the Çınarcık Dam is full of water, and the people of Bursa are without water."
Sharing on social media platform X, Acar made the following statement;
“In short, Bursa is nothing but water…” Evliya Çelebi said this centuries ago.
Today, thanks to the CHP Metropolitan Municipality administration, Bursa has become a city devoid of water.
"THE TAPS ARE NOT FLOWING, THE PEOPLE OF BURSA ARE WATERLESS"In the city that boasts of Uludağ's abundance, the Çınarcık Dam is full of water, but the taps are not flowing, leaving the people of Bursa without water.
The source of the problem is not drought alone; it is incompetence, apathy and lack of planning. They left Green Bursa without water for the sake of politics and rhetoric.
As a local of Bursa, I want everyone to know. Bursa is not without water, the thirst of this city,
"CHP is the summary of municipalism and its reflection on Bursa."
